/NONSENSICAL RANT ALERT/

I had to write this out here because I'm going crazyyyyy. I hate my brain sometimes!

So, as I'm trying to churn out scenes for Restoration chapter 10, I get hit with the inspiration to work on another fic of mine, that I made up a loooong time ago, but put aside after a short time. It's a Transformers fanfiction, and I'm not nearly as obsessed with the fandom as I had been. But lo and behold, as I go back to re-read my notes...I get involved again. sigh.

What's worse is, that if I work on this story, I'd essentially be shooting myself in the foot. Why? Because it's...gigantic. I mean, I have never come up with such a large storyline, not for a fan fiction! I mean, sure for my own stuff, but a fanfic?! Jesus...it's terrible! Lol. I can't even call each (yes, each; there are two books plus a possible third one involved) story a mere story. They're NOVELS. Wtffff. Like I don't have enough writing projects on my plate, between Restoration and my original stuff!

I don't want to talk too much about the series (series!) because its the kind of story where you can't afford to spoil too many things. You just gotta read it for yourself. Its focused mainly on the Decepticons, some OCs (hopefully the good kind?) and much dramaz. Lots of dark themes, politiks, character deaths, crack!humor scenarios...NYC has a pretty bad day in book two. Yeah.

It's such a bipolar kind of story too, because it has INTENSEDRAMA one second and then the most ridiculous crack humor the next (i.e. Santa+Starscream scene WUT). -_-; I hope it's not TOO much of a juxtaposition between humor and tragedy. I love realism...but I also like humor. Sigh. I guess this is my attempt at having both.

I really want to work on it though, because it is a good story (as much as it is, in my mind), but...I'm kind of intimidated. It really is a huge story to try to tackle. If I ever do, I would have to make sure I have the entire thing finished before I start posting book one, simply because waits between updates would ruin the pacing of the story line. Also, it's just too freakin' long to take my time with finishing; my readers would be out of the fandom by the time I finish it. XD It'd also be kinda nice to be able to give people a weekly update schedule to follow...that'd be really nice.

SIGHHHH. I guess I'll go back to working on Restoration for now. My mind is elsewhere, but that's a priority. Someday I'll tackle "Home" (as the series/book one is called), but I have a LOT of work to do for that. If I ever do, it'd be my magnum opus of fan fiction, lol, because I cannot stress of how large a project it is. sighhhhhh.

...Do you think it'd be possible for me to write a story that does NOT in fact require something as large as a FAQ to explain a story? Really?

It has come to my attention that Restoration readers may be missing some important info for the story or may be confused about certain things I'm writing about. I apologize, because its an obvious lacking of my writing skills that's causing this. D: To remedy the confusion, I wrote up this FAQ piece for those who may need some more explanation of things. Not everything will be explained right away (or else the story would be spoiled) but some basic facts will be found here that may be missing from the main story.

XD I'm almost done chapter two of Flipside! It's VERY long...total of 13 pages in MS Word so far and I still need about five more pages. LOL. It's a total info-dump chapter, but the main character and Barricade's relationship develops nicely as it goes along. Lolz. They're a riot together. I'm actually laughing out loud while writing; I hardly ever laugh at my own stuff. This is definitely lol-worthy.

:3 Give me time! School is a bitch (which is rather shocking considering I barely have any real classes. Curse you Senior year! D:)

I'll probably have the chapter done by Friday. No promises. And as for Second Chances, I'm having major difficulties with this one. :\ Again, lots of real-life work + writer's block = fail. I'm still working, though. Don't give up on me!

:) I finally relented and got a LiveJournal account to post updates for my fan fictions, namely, Flipside and Second Chances.

I'm ALMOST done chapter six of Second Chances. Its completely Bonnie, Michael, Kitt and Devon oriented and it's driving me nuts! Writing Karr gives me a lot of liberties, but with the other characters, they're much more...developed? It's harder to write characters that I barely know. :| I really have to watch all the DVDs I got for my last birthday. I have the first two seasons, so that should help...a little.

As for Flipside, progress is slow, but its chugging along. My "three-part" plan is falling apart, though. :\ The first chapter is getting waaay too long. I might have to break the chapters up even more. Sigh. The more I write, the more I have to add to the story. And Barricade isn't developing too nicely either. I haven't really gotten to any characterization of him yet, though, so I might be able to pull it off.

Chatterday (a one-shot sequel to Flipside) is already done and I'm already working on parts of other one-shots and the sequel. XDXD I shouldn't, but they're all so funny, Chatterday especially.

OMGFRENCHEXAM. Il faut que je ne raterai pas demain. D: Mais, c'est très possible. Malheureusement.

I should totally translate all of my fan fics into French for practice. Totally. (SARCASM)
